I Create Some Awesome Stuff
I am a creative, passionate and highly self motivated individual, with over 20 years of experience. Extensive background and knowledge focused on developing, defining, refining and maintaining brand vision and awareness from conception through completion while working and collaborating with Executive, Product, Marketing and Engineering counter parts. Lead and mentor in-house design teams to convey, create and execute compelling visual design and usability. Notable as an energetic, and results oriented professional with a solid foundation in all aspects of Creative/Art Direction, Web/Graphic Design, Development, Usability Direction, Marketing, Social Engagement, Project Management and Customer Service, enhanced by well developed analytical and problem solving skills.
My experience demonstrates an extensive background in user-centric design principles, branded interactive designs, web interaction and e-commerce design solutions. Well versed in production cycles (concept modeling through development), brand management and creative brainstorming. Expert skills in the art of digital graphic creation and manipulation, page layout and conceptual design, with a wide array of clients ranging from small start-ups to high profile clients such as Samsonite, MTV, VH-1, Gerber, Pokemon, WWE Europe, Miramax, Dillards, Macy's, Harrah's Resort Hotel & Casino's, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Infiniti, Lexus and Arizona Cardinals, to name a few.
From hobby to career, I enjoy all aspects of being creative, especially in a digital environment. Because of this, I do not focus on one specific verticle. I like to keep my style well rounded and diverse.
By trait, I am a designer first but also an advocate of usability and functionality. I approach every design with the user in mind and want them to be exposed to only the best experience.
I like to keep an open minded marketing approach rather than focus on one specific avenue. With the right amount of creativeness, a good marketing plan can be implemented.

I Make MY Customers Happy
Most processes can become overwhelming quickly and without explanation. I like to take all of the nonsense out of the process to create a painless and productive experience. With that said, I'm an avocate of education and find this to be the sticking point in any project. Most of the time I find that the client does not understand technical jargon and, in most cases, afraid to ask. I like to walk the client through the entire process so they understand what they are paying for. Below is a typical formay I follow.
Research
Understand the customer needs and goals, then determine how we will get there.
Concept
After determineing the needs of the client, the project will the begin the design phase.
Develop
Once the design phase is finalized, the concept will then be developed and come to life.
Test
Once development is complete and all content is delivered, the site will undergo QA, then launch.
Regardless of the project, the client should never feel intimidated. Keep in mind, throughout the duration of the project I am available for assistance. I am here to help you succeed, so there are any dumb question.
Just some cool stats about me
These numbers are based on projects throughout my career.
Some Recent Projects
Here is a list of various projects I have worked on in the past. Not everything I have worked on in my career is posted, but some of the most notible projects I had the opportunity to work on. With that said, every design listed in my portfolio was solely design by me. If any of these projects were worked on in a collaborative effort, credit would be duly noted.
My Primary Skills
I like to think I have a very diverse skill set that allows me to take a project from concept to completion. Whether it be a web design / development project, marketing campaign, a traditional print project or social media engagement, I work effortlessly to complete these tasks because I enjoy what I do. These are just a few skills I use on a regular basis, but not limited to one in particular.
Well versed in HTML to build out the primary structure of a website, micro-site, landing page or email template. When developing a web project I primarily use HTML for the job. I do not use WYSIWYG's to write my code for any of my web projects and prefer to hand code everything. This allows me to identify any issues that may arise.
Well versed in CSS to assist the design effort of my web projects. CSS also helps structure the responsiveness of any web project to accomodate to a mobile device. In addition to hand coding HTML, I prefer to hand code all of my CSS in order to keep track of all design elements that are not imaged assisted.
I am well versed with jQuery libraries to help assisy HTML design and development efforts. jQuery allows me to create interactive elements to make any web page come alive.
I enjoy designing and developing websites from scratch, but Wordpress allows any developer to save a little bit of time and effort. Not only is it easy to use, it is easy to design with and allows the customer to take full control upon delivery.
I enjoy using Illustrator and use it on a daily basis. I use it in just about all my projects I work on. Designing in Illustrator allows me to create a web project but a;so allows me to use the same files if the cliet wishes to use assets for print collateral at a later date.
I also enjoy using Photoshop and primarily use it on a daily basis. I use Photoshop in conjunction with Illustrator to comeplete all of my web tasks. In some cases I might use Photoshop to develop a print project as well.
